Back About me

Between the workbench
and code.

I'm Michael. Design, code and craft are my tools. Which one I use depends on the task.

I studied industrial design and process design and trained as a carpenter. Today I'm as much at home in code as I am at the workbench.

I work freelance out of my prototyping workshop in the Bavarian Forest: surveying, parametric planning, visualizing, building. Projects range from solar fields through furniture to small machines. I automate recurring planning work where it pays off.

Passing on knowledge

In 2014 I taught people how to build skis, at university I ran CAD courses, and today I train automotive-industry leaders on current technology topics.
